Häämekko- The Wedding Dress

Sillä aikaa kun kaikki olivat Forssan markkinoilla, sain vihdoinkin valmiiksi tämän häämekon. Vain kaksi viikkoa tämän tekemiseen menikin :)

It only took me two weeks to complete this dress, but it is finily ready. Simple Regency style with high waist will suit whatever shape or size the bride may be.

Just a Little Something

Viime viikolla en paljon kerinnyt mineilee... kelit ovat nyt niin hyviä, on tullut paljon oltua ulkona. Tämän pienen arkun sain kuitenkin jopa valmiiksi. Jotakin "isompaa" on kuitenkin tekeillä.

The weather outside has been just gorgeous. We have been outside ( at the beach) a lot. So I have not done much. This little memory box is the only thing that I made last week. Something "big" is going to be ready soon - I promise.

The Three Blind Mice.....

Ostin jonkin aikaa sitten pienen kirjasen Annelies:elta, jossa olivat mini lelujen neulonta ohjeet.
Aluksi luulin, että nämä hiiret ovat tosi hankalia, muuta toisin kävi. Joten tein niitä aika monta.

Ennen kuin kerkesin ottaa valokuvan, annoin tyttäreni leikkiä nukkekodillani. Siinä leikin aikana hävisi pari hiirtä. Tässä vaiheessa olisi ollut tarvetta pikkuiselle hiirenloukulle. Mutta ei hätää, löytyivät kadonneet hiiret ja kuvankin sain napattua.

I bought a pattern book of knitted miniature toys from Annelies. Thought that those mice were quite tricky but it turned out tht they were easy. So I made a hole bunch of them.

Before I took this picture I let my daughter to play with them in my dollhouse. She managed to loose two of them. At that point a hoped I had a miniature mouse trap to catch them. As you can see - I found them, all safe and sound.
